Yolanda's Bio/Education/Associations/Memberships
Yolanda Mendiveles
I've always been a writer, compelled to tell a story. My passion for the theatre came when I saw my very first musical. Inspired by the storytelling and the emotion that the music weaved into the work, I wrote my first 15 minute musical in 2008.
Ever since 2008, I've been writing and producing. I draw from my own personal experience and especially my Latina culture. It is important to write meaningful stories that resonate with hispanics. It's why I write.
